Jenny Tran is an Asian American television, film & stage actor. She was born and raised in Burbank, California. She does both comedic and dramatic acting. She has worked alongside Academy Award winners Julia Roberts and Sean Penn in the new dramatic series Gaslit, directed by Matt Ross. She has also improvised and worked comedically with Steve Carell, John Malkovich, BJ Novak, and many other incredible talent. She has been quoted as being part of the "exceptional roster of next generation talent". You can see her work on multiple platforms including Netflix, NBC, YouTube, Hulu, Disney+ and FXX. Jenny co-founded Laughtivism and the Diversity program at iO West. Both helped amplify BIPOC producers, writers, actors and directors in the improv and comedy community. She also has multiple national commercials playing on TV with Google, Petco, Dos Equis, Invesco, ThirdLove and Xfinity.
