Stefanie Yunger
Stefanie was born in Evanston, IL to Ukrainian and Moldovian immigrant parents. She grew up with her mother, Slava and only spoke Russian until the age of six. At eight years old, she and her mom moved Florida. There, she joined a children's theatre group to better learn English. Through out high school, Stefanie participated in school and community plays and wrote and performed her own comedy sketches. At 18, she moved to Tel Aviv for college. While studying, she joined the Tel Aviv Improv Group. Through out college, Stefanie worked as a dance and fitness instructor, preschool assistant, joined a salsa dance troupe and worked as a hostess. Additionally, every Sunday, she interned at Villa Matrix, a rehab center in a suburb of Tel Aviv that specifically focuses on treating various addictions.
Stefanie speaks four languages (English, Russian, Hebrew and Spanish). She writes and performs her own sketches including impressions, mocumentaries and short form content and publishes them to her social media accounts. She is trained in ballroom, contemporary, salsa and belly dance. Stefanie enjoys writing in third person.
