Arushi Sharma is an Indian actor who works in the Hindi film industry. Arushi was born in Shimla to a Judicial officer's family where both her mother and father are serving as Sessions Judges in Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services. Sharma calls her acting career a "Beautiful Accident" as her journey began while she was studying in an Engineering college in Himachal Pradesh and was scouted by Imtiaz Ali to play a role (Sanyukta) opposite Ranbir Kapoor in tt3148502 in 2015. She later gave several auditions to finally crack another Imtiaz Ali film. She was cast by Ali in 2020 as a lead in the movie Love Aaj Kal 2, the spiritual successor of the 2009 blockbuster film Love Aaj Kal. She played the role of Leena opposite Kartik Aaryan and garnered many accolades for her charm and natural acting. In 2022, she played Disha Chhabra opposite Jitendra Kumar in a Netflix film named Jaadugar. Widely appreciated by the audience over the platform.
