Satomi Hofmann is a Broadway, television, film, & commercial actress, a voice over artist, singer, musician, composer, arranger, music director, and host on the I Heart Geek Podcast. She can be seen most recently in FBI: Most Wanted and HBO's upcoming Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslet. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Satomi, who is half Japanese, began her creative pursuits as a classically trained pianist, attending the renowned San Domenico School's Virtuoso Program and working with the likes of classical music greats as Yehudi Menuhin and Leif Bjaland. Satomi discovered a talent and passion for singing and acting and turned her sights towards a different path. After graduating from UCLA's prestigious theater program, she began working as a professional performer while never letting go of her music roots. Her skills led her to playing leading lady to the original Phantom of The Phantom of the Opera, Michael Crawford as well as to legendary David Cassidy in the Las Vegas spectacular, EFX. Never satisfied in her mission to create, Satomi became a founding member of fan-favorite all-female Celtic rock band Killian's Angels in which she sang and played keyboards, guitar, spoons, bass, and percussion for seven years. Her acting work finally led her East and towards her dream of becoming a Broadway performer, which she fulfilled when she joined the cast of The Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theater in New York, bringing her full-circle to the boards Mr. Crawford had graced so many years before. Believing that once a dream is fulfilled there are more dreams to dream up, Satomi began pursuing a career in film and television and has been actively working on screen ever since. Satomi continues to pursue many creative outlets, including producing music videos for herself as well as various charities, including Broadway Hearts and the recent Broadway, non-partisan Make a Plan to Vote campaign, and is looking forward to cooking in the kitchen she, her husband, and her cats are remodeling together (the cats haven't been helpful at all).
