Alonso Grandío
Alonso Grandio was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, to Alejandro Grandio Andion and Aida Maria Alegria de Grandio. Ever since little, he had the desire of playing different characters and working on several fields. As a teenager he thought "what better way to do so than acting?". He auditioned for a school-play when he was 14 and managed to land a small role in it, catching "the bug" instantly. He graduated from Universidad Anahuac Mexico in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences.
In 2013 he decided to pursue his dream and moved to Los Angeles, California, where he studied and worked in the film industry for 4 years. He met his now wife Monique Grandio in L.A. and the couple decided to branch out to South Africa in 2017. He has worked in the South African Film Industry since then, landing roles in hit TV Series Rhythm City, Legacy and the Docket to name a few. It was in South Africa where he landed a small breakthrough role on Olivier Megaton's The Last Days of American Crime.
To this day he stills works in the film industry both local and international.
